This Privacy Policy applies to the AnySensor demo page available at platform.anysensor.ro/demo and to the related forms made available on that page. The Policy may be supplemented by the Terms and Conditions applicable to the demo page.

For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

Special categories of personal data: personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data used for uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health, sex life or sexual orientation.

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, referred to as the “data subject”. A natural person is identifiable if they can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more elements specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

Controller: the natural or legal person that determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. In relation to the users of the AnySensor demo page, DASSTEC B2B SRL acts as controller.

Processor: a natural or legal person that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Data subject: the natural person to whom the personal data relates.

Processing: any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, alignment, restriction, erasure or destruction.

DASSTEC B2B SRL acts as controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (“GDPR”) for the personal data collected through the AnySensor demo page, to the extent that it determines the purposes and means of such processing.

The confidentiality and integrity of user data are important to DASSTEC B2B SRL. We process personal data in accordance with the principles applicable in Romania and in the European Union, including lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality.

This Policy applies to natural persons who access the AnySensor demo page, complete the demo request form or send a commercial enquiry to DASSTEC B2B SRL in relation to AnySensor.

The demo page is mainly intended for B2B commercial communication. In this context, the personal data may relate to representatives, employees or collaborators of legal entities interested in DASSTEC B2B SRL products and services.

This Policy does not describe in detail the processing of data within a real, operational implementation of the AnySensor platform at a client site. Such processing may be governed by separate contractual documents, data processing agreements or technical documentation, depending on the specific project.

For requesting a demo or sending a commercial enquiry, we may process one or more of the following categories of data: first name and last name, company, role or position, e-mail address, telephone number, message or enquiry submitted, area of interest in relation to AnySensor, preferred contact details and any other information voluntarily provided through the form or subsequent communication.

In connection with accessing the demo page, we may process usual technical data, such as IP address, date and time of access or form submission, browser information, device type, operating system, page interaction data, security logs and other data strictly necessary for the operation, security and administration of the page.

As a rule, we do not request and do not intend to collect special categories of personal data through the demo page. Users are asked not to submit sensitive information or data that is not necessary for requesting a demo or commercial contact.

The data is generally provided directly by users, meaning that users retain control over the type of information they choose to submit.

We may process personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

Demo request and commercial communication: to receive, analyse and manage the request submitted through the demo page, contact the user, schedule or present a demo, provide information about AnySensor and answer questions. The legal basis may be steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract and/or our legitimate interest in responding to commercial enquiries.

Quotation and subsequent commercial relationship: to prepare an offer, clarify technical requirements, send commercial proposals and manage the relationship with a potential client. The legal basis may be steps prior to entering into a contract, contract performance, where applicable, or legitimate interest.

Responding to requests, complaints or questions: to process the data necessary for handling communications sent by users. The legal basis may be consent, steps prior to a contract, contract performance, legitimate interest or a legal obligation, depending on the context.

Security and administration of the website: to process technical data, logs, IP addresses and traffic information for protecting the demo page, preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, maintaining security and ensuring the proper functioning of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.

Compliance with legal obligations: to process data where legislation requires us to store, communicate or otherwise process certain information. The legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

Defence of rights and legitimate interests: to establish, exercise or defend the rights and interests of DASSTEC B2B SRL, including before courts, public authorities, lawyers, consultants or other entities involved in disputes or negotiations. The legal basis is legitimate interest and/or compliance with legal obligations.

Marketing communications: if the user separately agrees to receive newsletters or recurring marketing communications, we may process contact data for that purpose. The legal basis is consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

At the time of publication of this Policy, the main purpose of the demo page is lead collection and commercial contact. In the future, we may use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the demo page and to improve the website and the AnySensor presentation experience.

If such tools involve cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website, they will be used only in accordance with applicable law and, where required, based on the user’s consent.

Technical logs required for security, fraud prevention and normal website operation may be processed based on legitimate interest, even if no separate analytics consent is requested.

We may disclose or make available certain personal data to other persons or companies where this is necessary and justified in relation to our activity, in accordance with applicable law.

Recipients may include hosting or cloud service providers, e-mail service providers, IT maintenance and support providers, analytics providers where applicable, consultants, lawyers, accounting or administrative service providers, public authorities, courts or other entities where disclosure is required by law or necessary for the protection of our rights.

Where we use processors, they process personal data on our behalf and under our instructions, subject to confidentiality and security obligations.

DASSTEC B2B SRL will store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law or justified by legitimate interests.

Data submitted through the demo form may be stored for the time necessary to manage the enquiry and any subsequent commercial relationship, but no longer than 24 months from the last interaction, unless the law requires a longer period or the data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Technical logs and security data may be stored for a limited period appropriate for the purposes of security, audit, troubleshooting and prevention of abuse.

At present, personal data is intended to be stored and processed in Romania and/or within the European Union or the European Economic Area. If, in the future, data is transferred outside the EEA, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR are in place.

If personal data is lost, damaged, stolen, compromised or if a complaint is made regarding the way DASSTEC B2B SRL has handled personal data, we will assess the incident and, where required by law, notify the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing within 72 hours from becoming aware of the breach.

Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the affected persons, we will also notify the relevant data subjects without undue delay, in accordance with applicable law.

DASSTEC B2B SRL will make reasonable efforts to limit the damage caused by any personal data breach and to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Under the conditions set out by the GDPR, users may have the following rights:

Right of access: the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data is being processed and to receive information about such processing.

Right to rectification: the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Right to erasure: the right to request deletion of personal data where the conditions provided by law are met.

Right to restriction of processing: the right to request restriction of processing in certain cases provided by law.

Right to object: the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, under the conditions provided by law.

Right to data portability: the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where applicable.

Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, the user may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint: the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) or another competent supervisory authority.

Users are not obliged to provide personal data through the demo form. However, if the data requested in the form is not provided, DASSTEC B2B SRL may be unable to register the request, contact the user, schedule a demo, respond to questions or send relevant commercial information about AnySensor.

If users provide personal data relating to other persons, they must ensure that they have the right to disclose such data and, where appropriate, inform those persons about this Privacy Policy.

DASSTEC B2B SRL may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version applicable to the user is the version available on the demo page at the time of access or form submission.
